Hi everyone, As we prepare for the upcoming Apache Synapse 3.0.3 release, I would like to propose an important update. Currently, the project is on Java 8. To substantially enhance the overall security and future-proof the product, I believe it would be highly beneficial to migrate to Java 17.
Undertaking this upgrade now will require additional time and testing. Therefore, I would like to ask the community, *Shall we delay the 3.0.3 release to incorporate the upgrade to Java 17?* Please share your thoughts and suggestions. Thanks, Thisara Weerakoon
