I'll investigate a bit more about c3p0: it is pulled in by latest Quartz but,
as said above and reported in [1], its license is incompatible.
Any objection to update CXF from 2.7.0 to latest (2.7.2)? Many transitional
dependencies (including jaxb) will get updated as well.
I'll let you know about c3p0.
