Resolution: Won't Fix
By taking a look at the deprecated comments removed by [1], e.g. [2] and [3],
it seems that no method needs to be deprecated either because the suggest
action was already taken (for example, "move to a new interface") or because a
discussion meanwhile occurred in the dev ML.
