No investigation has actually performed yet: we currently set this feature for
one of the "far-future" releases (3.0.0).
FYI, my company has been deploying IAM solutions featuring Syncope and other
Open Source access management solutions (like as
[CAS|http://www.jasig.org/cas]) but not yet Shiro.
