Hi Giacomo,
as already said previously, I believe this is a great addition to
Syncope: I hope I'll have enough time in the coming days to take a
closer look at your proposed changes. By that time, if no further
adjustments are required, and if no one else expresses concerns, I'll be
happy to merge your changes.
In the meanwhile I hope that other committers take a look as well.
Finally, I know you've already submitted an ICLA and that it was
registered in ASF archives [3], so we should be all set from the legal POV.
