Hi Francesco, I hope that kite (of just adding new categories to the doap file) will fly. In the doap guide, they gatekeepers mentioned that new categories must be motivated. So, I reached out to the Apache Directory project and this one, and I will be reaching out later today to Apache Shiro and Apache CXF as well, to see if there would be some kind of overlap/consensus. And after that information gathering session I would reach out with a proposal to the gatekeepers.
But, I guess, we'll see.
