+1 Successfully cloned the tagged version and packaged using a clean maven repo. Test suite passed on OS X. Ran in 2 hours 27 minutes using 1.7.0_80-b15. Downloaded all rc5 artifacts and verified that 'hello world' DML works for each. Verified that project can be built using src release. Single node standalone univariate stats verified to work. Single node spark univariate stats did not initially work due to a ppred refactoring issue, but restoring the ppred statement fixed the issue. Single node hadoop univariate stats worked with the ppred fix. Examined LICENSE files in the artifacts. They appear to be correct but it's useful if others can also look at these when validating a release candidate.
