Hi everyone,
yesterday we had our first hangout after some months. Anatole, Werner,
Philipp and I took part in it.
We discussed the current state of the project and exchanged our views.
At the end the we came up with the following decisions:
- We won't change the core API. There might be some little changes but
we won't change it.
- We have to improve our communication. Therefore we will have a
biweekly hangout.
- We need a clear roadmap for the next versions
- We have to automate our release process to avoid manual tasks and to
be able to release more often even for bug fixes.
- We will review the currently existing extensions. Anatole will provide
a list of all currently existing extensions. Based on this list we will
dicuss and decide how to handle the extions.
There are the following options:
- Keep them as part of the current project
- Move all extensions to a separate project
- New extenions should be developed outside of the Tamaya main
repository. This should help us to release only ready extensions. If an
extension is stable it will become a part of the Tamaya project
