Renat Zubairov commented on TAPESTRY-984: ----------------------------------------- I would disagree, there are multiple reasons: 1. Tacos is a separate project, it means for big companies a separate approval process with separate check of the licensing and the staff 2. Tree is already available, moreover I've already fixed it and it works very nice, I also will produce a testcases for the implemented code with good coverage 3. May be someone do not wont AJAX yet, it might be a political desition or rather business security desision. I know that it is possible to disable AJAX behaviour in the TACOS tree, but never the less you will need all AJAX libraries for that or you need to hack a Tacos a bit. 4. More different trees we have is better, I guess that we should provide a choise for other people, however it would be very nice to refer TACOS tree in the page of the Contrib:Tree > Multiple selection in Contrib:Tree + Refactoring + Javadocs + Tests > ------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: TAPESTRY-984 > URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAPESTRY-984 > Project: Tapestry > Type: Improvement > Versions: 4.0.2 > Environment: Tapestry 4 > Reporter: Renat Zubairov > > I would like to refactor Contrig: Tree component in order to add following > features: > 1. Multiple selection in the tree - currently model ITreeStateModel do not > support multiple selection > 2. Select/Unselect of the elements on second click - possibility to unselect > elements in case user clicked on already selected elements. > 3. Tree initial expansion level - in most cases it doesn't make allot of > sence to show only root of the tree, it migt be usefull to show tree > structure already expanded up to certain level. > Also JavaDoc and documentation for the Tree component needed to be updated > Also I haven't found any tests for the Tree code yet. > And the nice thing that I can do this all because I need to do it anyway for > my current project, the most important thing for me is that my changes (when > they will be approved) will be in ofissial version (4.0.3?) -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
