Understand the way your application server loading classes is a very
important. I really suggest that you read some oc4j document to understand
its class loading structure. Also read about the J2EE spec on the class
loading scheme. There are defined structures for J2EE class loading. I think
that you may want your application be compatible with J2EE standard.
To make it simple, I think that it should be no problem if you just package
Tapestry and its dependencies in you war file's lib folder (do not put
Tapestry in any oc4j directories). If your war file will be part of your ear
file, pay attention to the Class-Path attribute in the Manifest of your war
file if you like to put the Tapestry and its dependencies in the ear file.

Remove hivemind from Tapestry is almost impossible. In stead of requesting
to remove it, if you can get your application working and write a how-to, it
will be very helpful.

In fact,I also developped a extremely robust-lightweight-extendable-PnP
framework, which have been used in many apps.I like tapestry just because
it has
some particular featues.Well, don't say that again please.
