I was scanning through the nice documentation updates for Tap4.1, and gave
the .application definition a bit of thought.
I assume that pages and components will no longer be defined here, or will
they remain optional to allow alternate directory structures.
Perhaps parameters to PageSource would be a better place to do that.
It seems like the need for .application will be diminished, but at the same
time the remaining settings a difficult to put anywhere else.
Unless you are required to create an application object and annotate that. I
hope this isn't the intention.
I guess the best solution is to leave .application around, or merge it's
purpose with hivemodule.xml
