According to http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/html40/attrs.html,
the id of html elements can includes hyphens ("-"), underscores ("_"), colons
(":"), and
periods (".")
Lots of .script files use that id along with the <let unique="true"> to
generate function names, e.t.c.
Make sure that those function names are exceptable by javascript
