"cough". .. You know, there is a certain property expression library floating
around that can do these kinds of things and has recently been upgraded to
include compilation support via javassist for the "entire" expression.
I'm not sure how much the paths diverge wrt needs / environment / etc, but "the
world is yours" as they say....Drew has officially handed it off to me so we
"own it" as far as I'm concerned morality wise if we get pissed off with
hosting at opensymphony.com. Of course there'd be no issues with making you a
committer / any little changes that might need to be made. In some perverse way
I'm enjoying the lower level side of my brain that it exercises so I'm ok with
fielding requests....
URL is http://svn.opensymphony.com/svn/ognl/trunk/ . I've deployed it and have
to imagine some people are using it in 4.1.2 tapestry now as I've made it a
required dependency.
It's probably more trouble than it's worth for both of us but thought I'd throw
this out there as I can imagine you'll be spending the rest of your days adding
more and more property expression logic otherwise.
