In some situations - such as binding an @EventListener to the onchange event of
a select field - if you cause the events to be generated repeatedly by doing
something like using the scroll wheel it is possible to get javascript errors
such as "bad srcObj for srcFunc "onchange" when connecting up events on ie.
May need to increase timeout of async request processing in IE specifically.
