I realize there's a consistency issue here, but I'm not sure BeforeRender is 
really any better, because it kind of implies that there's a Render phase (and 
there isn't).  Naming it BeginRender really identifies the phase as the main 
phase where rendering begins (or at least starts).  Still open for discussion 
while the code is alpha, but still.
