DateField component clobbers time.

The DateField component currently ignores time (see TAPESTRY-1880 for a request
to improve that), but moreover, it destroys time in the source object. Rather
than update the date, it updates the date and resets the time portion back to
12:00:00. This makes the component difficult to use for anyone that just wants
to bump a date, but not the time.
