I don't know.   It just seemed like it was trying to replace the much
easier to manage apache alias rules logic or similar.   Mostly it was
me wanting to track the changes I made.   I'm sure a new ticket can be
created (or re-opened) if we like.   I'm not very sure about the best
answer.

We may need to ping Howard for opinions.
