I've not seen any deadlocks lately, but they can be difficult to track down.
I've asked the original posters to try to reproduce the deadlock, if they can't
with a current 5.0.15-SNAPSHOT then we'll have to consider this issue closed.
If it recurs, re-open this bug if 5.0.15 has not been released; clone this bug
as a new bug if 5.0.15 has been released.
