Just a note:
We are with the same problem, not just with links, but with <b> tags too,
even if they are properly closed. To a quick fix, do not close like this <a
/>, just like this <a></a> and add a white space (&nbsp;) inside it.

I don't know whether this is a flaw, and I don't know how this should affect
the voting process too.
