It would be cool to have git in place. I am not committer, but playing around a lot and looking into patches. Having a private dedicated branch (which is git approach) would help a lot here.

Currently I am using great IntelliJ history feature to track private changes, but it feels like a workaround.

Hi all,

I've been working with Jukka Zitting to get Tapestry mirrored on git
[1]. This is still experimental, but most of the major kinks have
been worked out and have been documented [2].

The T3, T4, and T5 repos are all mirrored. One thing to note is that
the T5 tags structure is a bit non-standard, so we decided it best to
actually point at tags/releases. Non-release tags will thus be
unavailable in the git repository.

Hopefully this helps make some of you more productive. I'm hoping it
will let me become more active in the Tapestry community again.

Please take any technical discussion on this to the infra-dev list.
