Hi guys,
I'd like to start improving the documentation (layout, structure and content). As a first step I'd
like to decouple it from the release cycle. With the current process, documentation changes are only
possible with a new release as only then the site is generated and uploaded to the right places (of
course, someone could generate the site with the most recent content and upload it but that's
cumbersome).
I propose moving the site's content to cwiki.apache.org to make changes to the documentation easier.
The autoexport plugin will generate static html files from our wiki which then can be copied to the
right directory with a cron job on people.a.o.
What do you think?
Uli
