The more I look at #7 the more i like it. But it definitely needs some fixes. 
That grey box should become a little more visible + the rounded corners to make 
the whole logo more stable. Without the box the rotation of the icon will make 
the logo look like it's falling apart... well, I would experiment here a bit 
more...

The other squared logos look a bit too boring.
I like the last ones (#17/#18) best at the moment. The icon is modernized, the 
unicorn looks into the right direction and appears to be emergent. Don't remove 
that light-effect from any proposal, it's great! :)
