I'm very pleased with the new documentation system, I think we're really going to have a useful amount of documentation. Reworking the tutorials is probably the next big thing.
However, in the background, is the larger issue of marketing Tapestry. My wife has pointed out that when asked "why Tapestry" my response is "it's just better" and when pressed for more information, most of what I can come up with is specific examples that are relevant, but hard to understand from the outside. Reuse, "simple" code, "simple" templates ... those are all abstract and hard to qualify. So she pushed me ... and the best word for the overall theme of Tapestry is ... agility! Less code: agility POJO classes: agility Live class reloading: agility Exception reporting: agility Yes agility is its own world of vagueness but even so; I think this might be the flagpole on which we can run the Tapestry flag. Even our new logo "Code less, deliver more" is practically out of the Agile manifesto! -- Howard M. Lewis Ship Creator of Apache Tapestry The source for Tapestry training, mentoring and support.
