Hi everybody! It seems to me that the majority of the content in the MoinMoin wiki (http://wiki.apache.org/tapestry/) is several years out of date and applies only to Tapestry 3 and 4. Amid the chaos there I see several dozen pages that apply to Tapestry 5, such as http://wiki.apache.org/tapestry/Tapestry5HowTos and http://wiki.apache.org/tapestry/Tapestry5ModuleRegistry. But overall, I think the MoinMoin wiki in its current state may be doing more harm than good for new users learning Tapestry, since most of the pages don't say what version they apply to.
I'm all in favor of keeping old documentation for historical reference (and I know that there are still many Tapestry 4 projects being maintained in the real world), but I think such outdated documentation should at least be clearly marked with a warning at the top. Is the cleaning up of the MoinMoin wiki just lacking somebody to do it? Maybe all we need is a message at the top of every page that says: WARNING: If the title of this page doesn't start with "Tapestry5" then it probably refers to an older version of Tapestry.
