Katia, This search is very cool, however I don't think it will work as you want when the site is exported. It will search Confluence content, but what is needed is a search of the static exported site. We don't want to lead people into the Confluence site for performance reasons.
I spent a few minutes on a simple search usinng Google Custom Searh Engine, which you can try at http://tapestry.apache.org/search.html (original is at https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/TAPESTRY/Search, see my comments there). I would very much love for you to take that further if you can. :-) On Thu, Dec 30, 2010 at 12:48 PM, Katia Aresti <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > I found on the notation page reference the search macro feature I didn't see > before on confluence documentation. > > {search-form} {search-input:type=text|match=query} {search-form} > {search-results} > > I tested it, and I think is very nice, so I would like to work on this part > in order to provide at least a minimal search engine to the site. > I would like to work on a new menu for the documentation too.
