I've started looking at the date picker bugs (TAP5-1408, TAP5-1409). I'd like to get those resolved. There is a contributed "patch" that I'm not super happy with; some of the code changes are useable (the code for closing the picker), some not so much, and no tests. But I'd like to get those in to 5.3. I'll see if I can close them out today.
At some point, I'd like to bring the Cayenne integration support directly into tapestry, but that's not going to make it into 5.3. Maybe 5.4.
