First of all you have to checkout tapestry code using 'svn checkout
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/tapestry/tapestry5/trunk/
tapestry-project'

Once you checkout the code you change the files in order to fix the
bug and create the patch using 'svn diff > blahblahblah.diff'

After that upload the patch file along with a comment on the Jira
issue you opened.

The time the bug will take in order to be resolved varies.It mostly depends:
1.Issue priority
2.Issue votes
