Sorry, I haven't actually tried the tapestry-yuicompressor module myself. I have heard of a lot of people having trouble due to Rhino JS and yuicompressor conflicts (see http://tapestry.1045711.n5.nabble.com/Tapestry-5-3-4-rc-9-td5714256.html). The YUI library project itself is apparently moving away from yuicompressor and toward a customized version of UglifyJS. None of this helps you now, though.
Maybe somebody else who has tapestry-yuicompressor working can speak up?
