Agreed. I will let the dev list know when I will start working on datepicker. Barry, if you start earlier let me know and we can coordinate efforts. I don't want to duplicate efforts. I have never written PropertyEditBlocks etc so you may be in a better position to do this.
What I don't want to do is try to write my own datepicker. We should use one of the public ally available ones, I,e, bootstrap of jquery UI one.
