Earlier I committed some changes and cut 5.4-beta-16. I'm very happy with the page loading mask; it doesn't exist in JavaScript is disabled which is a plus, even in these days. It fades in after .25 seconds. It prevents user interaction, and has a "loading indicator". I tried it on a client app that has some slow-loading JavaScript and was happy with the results.
I'm hoping everyone can try it out in their apps and see if it is ready for prime time. Also, there's a symbol to turn it off. -- Howard M.
