Yes, that's probably a good idea, although it doesn't need to fail. It's
only me who didn't vote +1, if everyone else is okay with switching to
RC, we can still do that.
Looks like the only, non-blocking issue
raised was TAP5-2397. Looks like it's waiting for input from Howard.
Also TAP5-2482. I think that input name attributes and events are
similar to public API and I think we should sort that out soon.

I may have an old-fashioned view of things, but for me, a release
candidate is something that we think is ready to be released as the final
version. If we know that there are issues left that we want to fix before
5.4.0, for me, that's exactly what makes current releases *not* release
