A couple of small questions: why did you choose ³taverna-parent-*² and ³taverna-language-*² rather than ³apache-taverna-*² for the release artifacts? Looking over other apache incubating projects, many but not all choose the ³apache-taverna-*² form but not all.
Also, why not use sha512? Looking at the parent POM, I recommend you clean up the commented out sections (repos at the end).
