Hm, sadly I found out that the ucfpackage bug https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAVERNA-920 reappeared in the RC3 on Windows 10 - so although my "fix" of adding jaxb-impl seemed to fix it, it was not true as it was just randomly working when I tested it then.
So it is not on every build it fails - it seems to be failing roughly 4 out of 5 times. What is weird is that with "mvn install" the log seems to indicate that the same plugins are executed again and again by maven-bundle-plugin - something like https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-4985 - it means it takes almost 2 minutes to build rather than a few seconds. I am not sure if this looping is accidentally causing the TAVERNA-920 to not happen all the time - but I do get the occassional SUCCESS even with just "mvn clean verify", which doesn't invoke the bundle plugin nor exhibit the loop behaviour. Could someone try the taverna-language RC3 on OS X and see if it happens there as well?
