I'm a little confused because I thought releases only consisted of sources and not binaries. But then I also found this link: http://incubator.apache.org/guides/releasemanagement.html#notes-on-source-only-releases Is this correct: Apache releases are only source code, but most projects also release binaries for convenience (and these binaries also have to have the licenses checked), and if you don't release any binaries it's called a source-only release? So, as long as the binary files don't go on dist.apache.org, we don't have to check the licenses? Do the binaries have dependencies that are NOT in the source files? Can you give me an example? (Sorry for the barrage of questions.) Thanks, Gale On Thu, Apr 21, 2016 at 5:51 AM Stian Soiland-Reyes <[email protected]> wrote: > It's what we've done so far..
