Hi, I was referring to https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/TEZ/HadoopShims about how to make Tez UI work well in CDH 5.8 environment with YARN timeline server. I built Tez 0.8.4 for this version, which built jar for shim too. Tez jobs are posting stuff to the history server, however, most of the entries (except App ID, Start and End time) are "null". When clicked on "History" it says entry is not found. Due to this, there's nothing in the Tez UI (It says: "Could not retrieve expected data from Timeline Server @ http://<server>:8188/ws/v1/timeline/TEZ_DAG_ID")
Am I missing something? Here's what I am doing: * Build Tez from source * Ensure only hadoop-shim-0.8.4.jar is part of tez-0.8.4-minimal.tar.gz * Starting timelineserver from CLI There's nothing in timeline server logs. Thanks, Manoj
