The unofficial Git repository I maintained on thrift-rpc.org and
mirrored to github.com/dreiss/thrift hasn't been updated to point to the
new svn location of the Thrift repository. Now that Apache provides Git
and GitHub repositories for Thrift, I don't think it is necessary to
update it. My plan is

- Preserve the existing repository to keep all of the old branches it
was hosting, but don't pull any new changes into it.
- Rename the repository (both thrift-rpc.org and github) to old-thrift.
- Eliminate <http://wiki.apache.org/thrift/GitRepository>. Apache
provides read-only access, GitHub provides read-write access, and
committers who want to use git-svn can just do their own clones.
- Continue providing instant releases of trunk, using Apache's
  repository as the source.

If anyone has any problem with any of this let me know. Otherwise, I'll
just go ahead with it.
