I had a typo in the description that I have fixed. "I was able to get the
Compact protocol to work on simpler Structs." This was without any changes, I
just have found that certain very simple and small structs worked with compact
protocol, but more complicated ones did not. I am thinking it is certain data
types are not deserializing correctly, but others are.
