I did the rebase, ran tests on python3, and fixed up a few issues over (in
my own fork)[https://github.com/broadinstitute/thrift/tree/eevee/python3]
However, the tests fail on python2 with the same issue documented on JIRA
(here)[https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/THRIFT-1857?focusedCommentId=14046961&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-14046961]
@jfarrell How would you like me to proceed? I can open a separate PR with
my changes, but I don't know what to do about the failing tests on python2.
