[~roger.meier] Sorry, couldn't find anything specific to fbthrift or Facebook.
I thought this issue was about taking code from their repository, am I right ?
I did some research and I believe we need something like [IP
clearance|http://incubator.apache.org/ip-clearance/index.html].
