I loaded Perl::MinimumVersion and found BinaryProtocol requires version 5.8
because it uses "utf8" so we will need to fix this in the next release. Sorry
I didn't see this before we wrapped up 0.10.0. I am going to resolve this as
part of THRIFT-4069 as we're going to move to 5.10 as a minimum there.
