Are you sure that the Thrift code is actually being generated? The generated
source should be in `target/generated-sources/thrift`
It sort of sounds like the code might be getting generated.
Here is the plugin configuration I use with source/target version=1.8 and it
works fine for me
<groupId>org.apache.thrift</groupId>
<artifactId>thrift-maven-plugin</artifactId>
<version>0.10.0</version>
<executions>
<execution>
<id>thrift-sources</id>
<phase>generate-sources</phase>
<goals>
<goal>compile</goal>
</goals>
</execution>
</executions>
Please double check your configuration and if it is still not working please
share your pom.xml
