I like the Tempus Sans ITC font, and the logo looks good on white or black. I
remade the original idea (which I haven't purchased yet, and Apache Legal needs
to review the logomaker terms and conditions to make sure they are suitable)
using PowerPoint, removing the shadow and I also didn't bother with the 3D
aspect, although that was pretty neat. The result is the attached PowerPoint
called ApacheThriftLogoProposal.pptx. Let me know what you think, and I will
simplify it down to one font and make sure everything is fully specified
(colors, fonts).
