It takes C++ as the example, that's something different.
Although only stated implicitly by the document title etc, the intention is
indeed to have some common standard across the entire library. There were some
efforts in a while ago to adjust most (all) language bindings according to the
example given. There may be still differences, either due to subtle
implementation details or due to langiage specific options etc. but the
objective still stands.
