It takes C++ as the example, that's something different.
Although only stated implicitly by the document title etc, the intention is
indeed to have some common standard across the entire library. Some efforts
have been invested a while ago to adjust most (ideally all) language bindings
according to the example given.
Yes, even today, there are still differences, either due to subtle
implementation details, outdated implementation or due to language specific
options, but the objective still stands.
