I propose that we use the [Oracle JDK "Premier 
Support"|https://endoflife.date/oracle-jdk]] EOL definition for Java, as that 
seems to best capture the overall community adoption/eol decisions, allows 
Thrift to evolve and stay current, while maintaining solid backwards 
compatibility (LTS versions get 5 years of support). JDK17, 21, and 25 are the 
currently supported versions.
