HTHou opened a new pull request, #3305:
URL: https://github.com/apache/thrift/pull/3305
<!-- Explain the changes in the pull request below: -->
This pull request updates the `thrift-maven-plugin` to improve compatibility
with newer Maven and JDK versions, and ensures thread safety in key plugin
goals.
**Plugin Improvements:**
* Marked both `ThriftCompileMojo` and `ThriftTestCompileMojo` classes as
`@threadSafe`, enabling parallel build execution and reducing potential
build-time issues.
**Dependency and Compatibility Updates:**
* Updated `maven-plugin-api` and switched from `maven-project` to
`maven-core` dependency, both now using version `3.9.8` for improved
compatibility with modern Maven versions.
* Added a Maven profile (`jdk9+`) that sets `argLine` to
`--add-opens=java.base/java.lang=ALL-UNNAMED` when building with JDK 9 or
newer, addressing module system access restrictions.
<!-- We recommend you review the checklist/tips before submitting a pull
request. -->
- [x] Did you create an [Apache
Jira](https://issues.apache.org/jira/projects/THRIFT/issues/) ticket?
([Request account here](https://selfserve.apache.org/jira-account.html), not
required for trivial changes)
- [x] If a ticket exists: Does your pull request title follow the pattern
"THRIFT-NNNN: describe my issue"?
- [x] Did you squash your changes to a single commit? (not required, but
preferred)
- [x] Did you do your best to avoid breaking changes? If one was needed,
did you label the Jira ticket with "Breaking-Change"?
- [x] If your change does not involve any code, include `[skip ci]` anywhere
in the commit message to free up build resources.
