Rishi Verma updated TIKA-1619:
------------------------------
Description:
Recently downloaded v1.8 source tar-ball, but noticed the MD5 hashes don't
match the website's suggestions (http://tika.apache.org/download.html). I ended
up verifying with http://archive.apache.org/dist/tika/. The PGP signatures are
OK though.
PROBLEM: the links for "Mirrors for apache-tika-1.8-src.zip", "Mirrors for
tika-app-1.8.jar", "Mirrors for tika-server-1.8.jar" all have SHA1 and MD5
hashes for v1.7 not v1.8.
SOLUTION: republish website to use v1.8 SHA1 and MD5 hashes from
http://archive.apache.org/dist/tika/
Happy to make (a patch for) this quick fix. Is the website code accessible?

> SHA1 and MD5 verification hashes for v1.8 still show old v1.7 hashes
