HTTPS tika support

Hi,

Can we support HTTPS request for tika server ?

I am trying to modify cxf.xml file in tika server jar by adding

<http:conduit name="http://localhost:9998/.*";>
        <http:client AutoRedirect="true" Connection="Keep-Alive"/>
</http:conduit>


Is this the correct approach ?
