Tim Allison commented on TIKA-2245:
-----------------------------------

[~grossws], in 49d6fd7c8ae849c0d5f11666488e9593fd0a7b78, slf4j was upgraded to
1.7.24. When we make a similar upgrade in Apache Solr, it causes a unit test
to fail. Do you happen to know if Tika will have problems with Solr's 1.7.7?
Our unit tests at least through {{tika-parsers}} pass, but are you aware of any
potential incompatibilities? Thank you!

> Tika parsers sometimes use Log4j's Logger, sometimes the JUL
> (java.util.logging) Logger and sometimes SLF4j.
> It would be better to standardise on a single facade, for the sake of not
> having to configure multiple loggers.
