Wherever the code will find the best community is the right answer. My
personal preference would be to package ddoleye's work and publish it to maven
central and then have Tika depend on it.
I wonder if Apache POI would be at all interested in hosting the code?
The pragmatist in me, however, is willing to take your PR with a few mods now.
Fellow devs, any objections/recommendations?
